Hi everyone, Where would I find out about a Magisterial enquiry? It's mentioned in a death notice in the Maryborough Chronicle on Dec 1st 1911. I just have the typed extract. The death mentioned was for Ann Shepherd PEARCE, who died 26th Oct., Duaringa, aged 87yrs and 9 months.....then it says ..(+5 Dec Magisterial Enq). Many thanks, Jill

Jill, The death is for Sarah Ann Shepherd PEARCE.... not Ann. Janet

Hi Jill, "The Morning Bulletin" could be worth a look for a report. It is/was a very detailed paper and Duaringa would have been in its coverage. At least the reason for the Magisterial Enquiry may have been reported.
