Hi Pam, Have received lots of history from the Cooktown Historical Society's Marjorie about the Neills but she cannot find her burial or death either. Lena is not registered in the cemetery and the cemetery is for all denominations. There is no Catholic Church there nowadays to search the registers so I will contact the Cairns Catholic Church or the Bishop in Cairns who might be able to help. Many thanks for your help, Kind regards, Mary ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pam Dale" <pamjdale@bigpond.net.au> To: <aus-qld@rootsweb.com>; <mmizzi@dodo.com.au> Sent: Friday, September 18, 2009 5:55 PM Subject: Re: AUS-QLD Digest, Vol 4, Issue 301 > Hi Mary > > It might be worthwhile trying the council in Cooktown.
