Hi Kerry Both my Husband and myself were born and bred in West End.... He lived a couple of streets down Hardgrave Rd. from the Church.... we both remember attending Fete's at the Churchwhen it was a Church.. but we cant remember when it ceased to be a Church...I think it was sometime in the 60's or early 70's.. it was used for various things.. such as you said Pilates Classes. Perhaps if you contacted the other Church they may be able give you an idea when it was built and it stopped being a Church.. St Francis down the Road was also where the Catholic School was...not sure if the school is still there or not today...Havent been over that way for awhile.
