Thank you so very much for this. I did ring a friend in Sydney to see if she could go and have a look at the fiche for me. Didn't know Russell had died but I guessed John had. John's mothers name was really Bedelia and she married Elliott at some time and had two sons, worked her out to be about 17 when she had them, then somehow she married Walker, can't see where she came in - born in Ireland, no idea about Elliott but one son is buried at Woodhill and the other one married the Governor Generals daughter Blakeney. Must see if I can find Eileen and see why she got OAM. Really appreciate your help. We had no idea this mob existed until someone said William had come to Aust from Scotland as a lad. Feb last year I got his death cert. and have been working on and off since then. We have a photo of the columbarium wall at Kangaroo Point Anglican (but not the individual plaques -- we were there for a wedding so we couldn't do a thorough job!).
