    3. Miss Someone (I forgotten her name) used to conduct a School for Young Ladies in my house. I've been told that my dining room (which was obviously not built at the same time as the main section of the house) was the schoolroom. Although it is a fair sized square room, its not excessively big. I don't think there were too many "young ladies" in town. I wonder if teaching Latin might have elevated a school to a college.     3. Thank you everyone for your help re Bullock's College. I googled with no success, but some of your replies are very promising and I shall follow up when I visit my Local History Library in Toowoomba on Saturday. In the diary it states that my grandfather rode his horse from Biddeston to Toowoomba to attend "Bullock's College" to learn bookkeeping when he was a teenager. He was born in 1904, so that would have been approx 1917-1923. Shall let you all know if I find the answer at the LHL. Thank you all once again, Sandra
