Hi Could anyone tell me how I could access a list of those people interred at Mt Thompson Memorial Gardens at Brisbane? I have a Miriam Dorothy CRAIG who died 13 Sep 2005 and I am trying to find out when her husband (who survived her) Ronald David Craig (born 1920) died. They were Seventh Day Adventist. I have checked the Brisbane City Council cemetery list and they are not listed. So I thought Mt Thompson might be worth a look. Many thanks Kerrie NSW
Hi Kerrie, Craig, Miriam Dorothy, born 14..2.1920 at Port Pirie, SA; died 13.9.05 at Esther Somerville Nursing Home, Normanhurst,NSW. On 18.7.40 she married Ron. She is survived by her husband, Pastor Ron Craig(Sydney); her sons, Pastor Adrian(Cooranbong), Dr Bryan (Sydney) and Dr Winston (Berrien Springs, USA); and her daughter, Suzanne Craig (Sydney, NSW).Miriam was a caring, tender hearted mother who adored her family and loved people. She was a true mum and a loyal, faithfulwife. She is affectionately remembered by her husband, four children, five grandsons, four great-granddaughters, and three great-grandsons. Can't see any reference to her husband dying. KINGDON Hi Lorrae
Hi Lorrae Don't know about your Jack and Sarah but looks like William Michael Hyde may have married a Marjorie Elizabeth (surname unknown) as those two are buried in the Mt Thompson Memorial Gardens in 1992 and 2000 respectively. If you do a marriage search on the Qld BDM index in 1938 using just Marjorie Elizabeth and no surname and no groom up comes some Marjorie Elizabeths with various grooms BUT also up comes the marriage of William Michael Hyde and William Joseph Kingdon on the same page. So there is a tie up there with Marjorie Elizabeth. Hello Glenda, Have you tried variations - Therkelsen / Terkelsen / Terkelson There are some birth entries for a George using those surnames.
