    3. Yes, Mary, they are fairly expensive. I hesitated to order the certificate but I am fairly sure it is my grandfather. The only problem is that my grandfather would have been 59 but the death is for someone who was 73. However, the informant might not have known the age of the deceased and guessed. Or it might be an indexing error. I think it is also quite possible that my grandfather might have padded his age to "qualify" for a pension. Hopefully the certificate will hold some information that will tell me for sure if it is actually him. 3. The Genealogical Society of Queensland does have microfilm records for some KM Smith records (or so I recall when I was last there some years ago). However, searching their web site reveals that the only thing I can see published on a DVD is the CD Index to KM Smith funeral records 1941-1960. http://www.gsq.org.au/index.php/index.php?option=com_sebercart&view=store&ck =2 So I am not sure if that means they only hold the KM Smith funeral records 1941-1960 or whether they simply have not indexed the earlier ones. But I think an email to them http://www.gsq.org.au/index.php/about-gsq/contact-us would resolve what they hold and what is the best way for you to get access. I understand there is a DVD's holding records of Km Smith Funeral Director of Brisbane? Lily Wilmot died 5/4/1913 place Brisbane. I wonder if there is any more information on her on the DVD as taken from the records of the Funeral Director mentioned above. Registered 15/289 Very grateful for any help which can be offered.
