It has been such a horrific time for all of the fire victims and will take a long time to rebuild their lives. This would be some small way to help any of the people in Victoria. Jan, In the 1903 electoral roll I found Harry Smith at "Cremer" cottage, Merivale St, South Brisbane, carpenter. Also a Harry Smith, same address, as a Builder. Mary Ann Smith Victoria Hospital, Stanley St,South Brisbane, domestic duties. 1905 roll there are two Harry Smith Tribune Street Carpenter and builder. As a matter of interest there is a Mary Smith, Merivale St,domestic duties. I wonder if one of the Harry Smith's is a son. 1925 roll Harry Smith "St.Kilda" Cordelia St S.B. carpenter, then Harry Smith "Strathdon" Peel and Cordelia Sts, carpenter also a Harriett Pamela Smith "Strathdon" Peel and Cordelia Sts S.B.
