Hi List I have a death certificate from Mackay in 1952 where the Medical Attendant is cired as S C Williams. Does anyone know who this person might be please? How does one lookup these things? Thanks Lorrae J Glenore Grove Qld 4342 http://www.lorrae.net/ __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 8697 (20130816) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com
Quick summary of what else I found: Rose Merrifield Fursman Birth Dec 1886 in Crediton, Devon, England Daughter of James Merrifield Fursman and Annie Gayner Then it seems there isn't much to Rose's story after immigration because in the NSW death index we find: 14925/1910 CARY ROSE M JAMES ANNIE PEAK HILL So if Rose died in 1910, then it is very easy to imagine that her brother (your grandfather) would decide to name his daughter (your mother) born in 1913 in memory of his late sister. Now the death of a young married woman always begs the question of death in childbirth and so it may well be significant that we also find this birth entry: 30545/1910 CARY JACK FREDERICK W ROSE M PEAK HILL It appears Frederick later remarries: 17949/1920 CARY FREDERICK W WOODHAM BRUCIE GLEBE And we find Fred & Brucie in the electoral role as hotel keepers, last sighted in 1963, which is consistent with this death index: 34341/1963 CARY WILLIAM FREDERICK JAMES EMILY JANE HORNSBY -----Original Message----- From: aus-qld-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-qld-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Kerry Raymond Sent: Friday, 16 August 2013 7:25 AM To: 'Margaret Young'; aus-qld@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [AUS-QLD] Help Please!! Hi Margaret On the NSW BMD site there is a birth of a son Jack to Frederick W & Rose M in 1910. There is also a death for Rose M Cary in 1910. http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/bdm_fh/bdm_bdsch.html Hope this helps Regards Kerry (Young)

There is another article: FAREWELL TO MR. JOHN SEABROOK.
