Dear Lesley and list members I enjoy all your untiring efforts to provide us with as much information on the early lives of our 'convict ancestors'. I read all your entries with enthusiasm hoping one day to find 'a mention' of my family members, as yet to no avail. I'm sure all members really enjoy these emails, but I, like most probably read them and never have the time to reply. Personally as someone who spends most of her days connected to email for business reasons, I find your informative stories of the colony a pleasant relief from work and I always read my colour coded 'blue PJ' emails first. This is undoubtedly the best list that I have joined and the most comprehensive. Best regards Julie Gold Coast, Qld
Hi Lesley & List, I have to support and echo Julie's comments (copied below). I eagerly look forward to these posts but don't reply because I do not want to clutter the List with superfluous "thank you" notes and comments. I am sure Lesley would realise that the greater majority of List members, being contributors or silent fence sitters, appreciate the time and effort she has put into these articles and the List. Thank you Lesley, you are a living treasure. As I'm not one that's good with words Julie has explained exactly how I feel about everything you put out Lesley, please keep up the wonderful work you are doing Pam Qld ----- Original Message ----- From: Julie Webb <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, July 19, 2003 8:23 PM Subject: [PJ] Last Sydney Herald > Dear Lesley and list members > > I enjoy all your untiring efforts to provide us with as much information on the early lives of our 'convict ancestors'.
