Hi Grahame. Thankyou very much for that link as it is marvellous. I am searching especially for Christina Sophia Lowe (nee Wilcox) 27 Sept 1877. confirming her parents is essential for me. I have applied to the Tasmanian birth deaths and marriages for a certificate but I have been waiting 3 weeks todate and am worried that they may not deliver. If they can not help me then I will look for her dad/mother link. her Father had a previous marriage also. I have this link http://www.northernmidlands.tas.gov.au/Page/Page.aspx? Page_Id=107 But the first link you gave me is excellent http://www.gouldgenealogy.com/2013/04/tasmania-birth-death- marriage-records-1803-1933-now-online/ This link I can not find Christina Sophia Lowe(nee Lowe) but need to to really get into it. I will search the Northern midlands link now. I have a www.mundia.com account which is simple but effective. It may be easier to take a look and see Christina as her birth may not be recorded. Website www.mundia.com Username holmes-holding@hotmail.com password HolmesDavenport I have copied it to my computer and have duplicates but if someone can really help then it is better to have the full picture Open research Cheers Mervyn Holmes-Holding(nee Holmes) On 12 August 2013 17:36, Grahame Thom <grthom@bigpond.com> wrote: > Hi Mervyn > > In relation to NSW BDM records pre 1856, ie, church registers, and > depending where you live, you may be able to see copies or originals on > microfilm at a library which holds the NSW Archives Kit, such as the Qld > State Library in Brisbane.
