Hi Listers, I am hoping there might be someone on the list who has researched convict William Skinn, who's daughter Mary Ellen Skinn married Ralph Cross in 1837. I note that Ross Beattie has on his website that a John Harris of Nepean was a witness to that marriage. I am particularly interested in Harris family research and was wondering if it is known whether this John Harris was a convict or had convict origins. I am thinking that the first wife of William Skinn may have been nee Harris. Any assistance greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Warren Diggins
