    3. The rebellion papers in the Irish National Library are different to the CSORP in the National Archives. The Colonial Secretary correspondence is a different collection FYI Gerry ----------------------- I am interested in your reply Gerry. I am not sure what CSORP stands for. I presume it is Colonial Secretaries ? Rebellion Papers. Is this correct? If so what does the O stand for? I always read this list as I am able to pick up lots of hints for my own research. I have two Irish Convicts, Robert Aickin/Aiken from County Antrim transported on the Martha for stealing four heifers in 1818 and his wife Ruth (sometimes Mary) Egan/Eakin nee Gardiner transported from Cove of Cork on the Janus in 1819 for passing forged notes. She had been tried in County Monaghan and was assigned to her husband Robert Aickin (who had been assigned to Captain Piper when he arrived in PJ) on her arrival in Port Jackson in 1820. I know Robert was Presbyterian but I have a feeling she may have been christened Catholic, I don’t know why. After Robert died in 1836 she did marry again in the Catholic Church, but then it may have been that the second husband was Catholic. I hope to one day find the church record of her marriage to Robert in Ireland but I don’t really know where to start. Also thank you Robyn Hogan for your Irish research tips as well Smile Valerie from Mollymook on the south coast of NSW

    3. The CSORP is the correspondence sent to and from the Colonial Secretary very similar to the regime in Australia. That archive is in the National Archive in Dublin. The rebellion papers collection is a separate collection to the colonial secretary correspondence. 3. Hi everyone I am new to this and have just started researching my husbands ancestor Sarah Hopwood who arrived in 1835 on the Mary. She was in the Parramatta Women's factory for some time and I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to obtain records of the factory for the period 1835-1842. I love reading the emails, keep up the great work everyone.
