Listers, I've been cleaning up files on my old PC. I have come across a small item in a newspaper concerning the transportation of Catherine Byrne of Dublin. Unfortunately I don't have the year, but she was sentenced to seven years transportation for stealing a cloak and two coats. Any relations in OZ who would like the item? Gerry in Sunny Dublin

My Catherine Byrne was sentenced to 7 years in Dublin, and transported on the Minerva I think in 1839 for stealing bedclothes, do you think that may be her? She was 19 years old.
