Hello Listers Can anyone help please. I need an indent for Joseph Whitehouse sent to Tasmania 1821 on the 'Claudine' with his brother William Whitehouse. I have looked at my library Cd for Tasmania convicts but there is no indent for him recorded on that source. But he did come to NSW sometime after he had served his time as we know this because of his relationship with Esther. There are a lot of convict connections initially with Abraham Hern (Hearn) he arrived on the Glatton 11.3.1803. See (Bald Face Stag Hotel) he married Sarah Fussell, she arrived 'Friends' 10.10.1811, they had a son Charles Hearn who had a relationship with Esther Harris by which they had a son. Esther was the daughter of two convicts Joseph Harris arr 1811 'Admiral Gambier' and married Hester Blaydes arr. Broxbornebury 1814. Esther now has a relationship with Joseph Whitehouse and they have 3 daughters Hester, Susannah, & Sarah. They never married as Esther Harris finally marries George Rose 1853 at Parramatta, George's father George Rose arr Fame' 1817 and Elizabeth Portney Aka Poultney who arrived 'Indispensable' 10.1.1809. I know this is a bit convoluted with all these convict connections but its as well, otherwise we would know very little about them as people. I would appreciate any help you are able to give me.
