What sad news both for Lesley & her family & for the Australian genealogical community. I second Jan & Sandra's thoughts. Lesley's research is an absolute testament to her. I am grateful that she shared her research on the Claim a Convict site, the PJ rootschat & her publications. I consider her an expert in convict research. I sincerely hope that her Claim a Convict data can find a permanent home. I think she has created an invaluable resource, both for finding information & for contacting other people with an interest in or information about a convict. I'm fairly new to genealogy research, but would be more than happy to help out in any way whatsoever to ensure that her research & the Claim a Convict site live on.
