Leslie and family: While I have only known Leslie through this group, this unfortunate news has brought me tears and sadness. I am sure that all those Leslie has touched by helping in our research will be sharing this grief in their own way. I hope the knowledge that many are grateful to you and care about you will bring all possible comfort in the time ahead. Leslie in particular, and this group was a whole have taught me and all of us who have participated in any way an immense amount about the early years of our country and of our personal and family past. I hope I am a better Australian for this knowledge. The group has even enabled me to identify a branch of my family I would never have known without it.
