I am so sad to learn of Lesley’s illness. She has helped me so much since I joined her mailing list and I benefited so much from her knowledge and answers to my questions over the years. l also learnt a lot from the answers she gave to others on the list. She gave much of herself and was so knowledgeable on early Australian history and our convicts. Lesley was always professional and gave us much to think about. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family at this time. With all that is happening in their lives both Lesley and her husband, Colin, have put their troubles aside to think about what would happen to this mailing list. I am so pleased Michelle that they have asked you to administer the list and you have taken on this task. I have also been an avid reader of your input into family history and the Hawkesbury Newsletter and I know you will carry on the great work that Lesley started with this list, that has been running for so long, and you will do it well.
