Hi Coralie If you can, would you please let her husband know that we all thank Lesley for all the hard work she has put into the PJ forum, claim a convict and the invaluable data she has collected and shared to assist people with their convict ancestors. It was thanks to Lesley that I found my CARR family in the 1828 census which Lesley pointed out was listed under KERR. Dear Coralie That is very sad news - I endorse Karen's remarks. Lesley has helped so many of us over the years with our family research. Thoughts and prayers are with her and her family at this sad and difficult time. regards Patricia -------------------------------------------------- From: "Karen Hodges" <rowantreek@gmail.com> Sent: Sunday, December 29, 2013 12:11 PM To: <aus-pt-jackson-convicts@rootsweb.com> Subject: Re: [PJ] LESLEY UEBEL > Hi Coralie > > If you can, would you please let her husband know that we all thank > Lesley for all the hard work she has put into the PJ forum, claim a > convict and the invaluable data she has collected and shared to assist > people with their convict ancestors. > > It was thanks to Lesley that I found my CARR family in the 1828 census > which Lesley pointed out was listed under KERR. > > Karen > > > > > > > > On Sun, Dec 29, 2013 at 11:36 AM, Coralie Hird <cdhird@optusnet.com.au> > wrote: >> >> Colin Kennedy, Lesley Uebel's husband, has asked me to pass on the sad >> news >> that Lesley was diagnosed in mid-October with an untreatable, incurable >> and >> terminal brain tumour and is now in the final stages of succumbing to its >> effects.
