I would also like to pass on my sincerest gratitude to Lesley, you have been a continual source of knowledge with whom I have loved receiving such valuable insights into the convict way of life. Thank you, thank you, thank you. It is not only in Australia that Lesley has helped people. I would like to let people know that Lesley has helped me make a connection with my family history. My ancestor John Keough Parmelia 2 was given a voice deprived of him in 1833 through the work of Lesley and through her kind assistance given through this site. without this site I would have never learned about the voyage he shared with Denis Hogan and of his descendent Elizabeth Walker. My thoughts are with Lesley and my much distant kinsman Colin Kennedy at this time. Lesley's work cannot be undone and should a donation be need to keep claim a convict alive in her honour I would for one be glad to help!
