Hi List, my laptop has a 1 terrabyte hard drive and so does my external drive however the pie chart indicated they were becoming full so I bought three SanDisk 32 gig memory sticks from www.zazz.com.au which only cost about $17.00 each. I saved all of my photoes to one, my documents to the second and my music to the third and labled them accordingly. I have found 4000 or so tunes only take up about half of the 32 gig capacity of my 'Music stick' which gives plenty of room for more tunes. In saving my files to the three 32 gig memory sticks it turns out what I was desperate to back up actually occupied less that 50 gig The bloat in my hard drive was caused by duplication of files which I then deleted and my laptop now runs faster . The 'Music memory stick' plugs into a USB port in my car radio so I don't have to put up with radio advertisments or signal fade out betweent towns. Every hit tune since radio was invented is available for free download from youtube which is perfectly legal as advertisments there pay the artists a royalty per down;load. Popular tunes from movies and stage shows are also available free from youtube. regards Max Bancroft Re: -------Original Message------- From: Julie Apps Date: 2/01/2014 10:43:00 AM To: aus-pt-jackson-convicts@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [PJ] Always keep a copy of your research or publish it all Re:
