    3. Hi Ros It is difficult to say. Why do you think she arrived again in 1841?.... and where from? The convict, Jane Delahunt alias Malone arrived in 1834 on board the Andromeda. She had been tried in Dublin City in April 1833 and given a 7 year sentence. She did apply a number of times, to marry another convict in 1837 and 1838. I can find no evidence that this marriage took place. She received a Ticket of Leave in 1839 and her Certificate of Freedom in October 1840. It would have taken months to return to Ireland and months again for the return journey. regards Lesley Uebel mailto:ckennedy@bigpond.net.au CLAIM A CONVICT http://users.bigpond.net.au/convicts/index.html -----Original Message----- From: aus-pt-jackson-convicts-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-pt-jackson-convicts-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of ros Sent: Saturday, April 04, 2009 12:10 PM To: AUS-PT-JACKSON-CONVICTS@rootsweb.com Subject: [PJ] (no subject) I have recently found a convict Jane Delahunt who arrived here 1834. I am wonering if she is the same person who arrived again in 1841 and married my GG Grandfather, Timothy Paul.
