    3. I am searching for possible Trial Records for Catherine McDaniel tried August 1800 at Carlow. She received a sentence of 7 years & was transpored on the" Rolla' arriving P.J May 1803. At a later date there was an official inquiry into her disappearance from the Castle Hill Asylum where she was described as having been an Activist. Is it possible there is an account of her trial in the Dublin Freeman Journal for this period ? I have made enquiries at the N.S.W. State Library, but the Mitchell only has copies for 1922, tho' I am told the University of Tasmania has copies fromSept 1763 to April 1806. Would appreciate any information. Regards, Marie Head. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gerry Kennedy" <gerrynkennedy@eircom.net> To: <aus-pt-jackson-convicts@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, February 21, 2009 8:26 AM Subject: Re: [PJ] Dublin Trial Records >I have browsed the archive and it appears there is no record on line for > 1829....! > > -----Original Message----- > From: aus-pt-jackson-convicts-bounces@rootsweb.com > [mailto:aus-pt-jackson-convicts-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Ron > Norton > Sent: Sunday, February 08, 2009 1:57 AM > To: aus-pt-jackson-convicts@rootsweb.com > Subject: [PJ] Dublin Trial Records > > Hi Lesley and List, > > Has any PJ Lister had any success researching Dublin convict trial > records? > I'm trying to find an 1829 record for one of my PJ convict ancestors. 3. Sorry I have checked the issues in August 1800 up to 7 September and you did not get a mention in Dublin unless they sentenced you to hang! Poor Wallace is the only one mentioned and you can guess what happened him! I'm off to bed it is 2.20am and it's too cold to stay up! -----Original Message----- From: aus-pt-jackson-convicts-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-pt-jackson-convicts-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Marie Head Sent: Friday, February 20, 2009 10:21 PM To: aus-pt-jackson-convicts@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [PJ] Dublin Trial Records I am searching for possible Trial Records for Catherine McDaniel tried August 1800 at Carlow.
