Many Thanks Joan, Yes we have all those records when his history was recorded by the family in 1936. Our search is for another gg grandfather Johny Jones whom we also heard so much about as children and knew he had a strong connection with Major Johnsons sons, he was not a convict and that has made it harder to trace..
