Hi Louise, Thanks, but no not him. The one I am after was born in 1830 so a bit young to be convicted at three years of age. He was still living with his parents in Kent at the time of the 1851 census in the old country. Means he missed out on being transported. Maybe he belongs to the next great wave of population boosters for Australia - people after gold. Great ancestors we have. The majority of the first wave were convicts, then the next lot were greedy sods after gold. Turned out pretty well though for all that didn't we? Best regards, John
