Dear Gerry, Would you mind to have a look for me - my great-great grandfather William Pimm married a Margaret Brannigan/Branagan/Branigan (we are not sure of the spelling) on 3 Sept 1848.She was from Longford, Ireland. We don't know if she was a convict or not - perhaps not, but the only one we have found arrived just days after the wedding date. Was there a Margaret Brannigan convict? How were convict marriages arranged if the bride to be was not already here? Thanks, Kerrie.
