    3. Hi Lesley & list, Who first? Maybe my GGG grandfather John Winch, Hillsborough 1799 - but he never told the truth, so no use asking the questions! Second choice would be Mary Tumilty, John Renwick 1838. She put in 2 applications to marry, both in 1843. One to Cornelius Dehany or Danehe, Parmelia 1833, the other Thomas Sanderson or Saunderson of John Barry, 1839, both applied through Rev. John Rigney of Wollongong. She married neither but son Thomas was born c1845, never baptised. She married Joseph Jagelman, Marquis of Huntley 1835, in 1847, & son John took the Jagelman surname. Please Mary, could you tell my children the identity of their GGG grandfather? Joan Edwards Enjoying PJ since the very early days - thanks Lesley.

    3. Hi all As I said the other day, my trip - well my first trip anyway, I would prefer to be invisible. That way I could just observe them. I could listen to their everyday conversation, how they treated each other and their children, watch meal preparation and how they shopped, what they ate, watch them at work and how they interacted with others around them, -- guess I could poke around their house (or shack) a bit :)). A second trip I would talk to them.... but I wonder if I could understand them with their Irish brogue. I would then have to find a dressmaker to make some suitable clothing to wear as I don't think jeans would be appropriate. 3. So Lesley, after all these years of genie work and experience you've built up, I don't suppose you would have a brick wall left in your own tree?
