Hi all, am away from home at present so can't check the detail BUT before you reinvent the wheel check -- I'm fairly sure there is a book published with some of his early records ( just can't really the title at present. and an interputation of these. Also you should read the introductory pages ( if i recall correctly ) as it indicates because of the strict government regulations ( which favoureded the Church of England) by which he could marry, baptize etc -- some names in the records may not have been people who actually existed in the colony!
