    3. Today I honour my 3rd great grandfather Michael Brennan, who arrived on the "Anne" in 1801, along with his brother Moses Brennan. Mary Rooney, who arrived on the "Archduke Charles" in February 1813 and married Moses Brennan August the same year. John Ross, who arrived on the "Duke of Portland" in 1807, another 3rd great grandfather. Charles Fairclough, who arrived on the "Francis and Eliza" in 1815, sentenced to 7 years, with his wife and two children, who came free. Hi List, Happy St Patricks Day My husband's great great great great gramdmother Jane Doyle nee Fletcher formerley a housekeeper, was tried in Dublin City in August 1815 for steeling a sheep and sentenced to seven years transportation. She was sent to the NSW Colony as a convict and arrived in Sydney on the 6th August 1817 on the convict ship "Canada" which sailed from Cork, Ireland on the 21st March 1817. On the 10th February Jane Doyle received payment in lieu of beef that was due to her during the voyage on the Canada. jane also had a child, Joh, travelling with her. Regards Marie Simpson
