    3. Hi Lesley, Thanks for the suggestion. There is an obituary for Isaac, which I haven't read yet, but will chase up at library or buy the CD - cannot find anything on the NLA site. I also can't find when and where John Lisson/Gorrick died. I think he ran hotels in Sydney in the 1830s and may have been a butcher in the 1850s. (Sydney Gazette entries) John married Sarah Yeomans and had 5 children. Louisa 1830; Napoleon William 1832; William Oliver George 1835; Charles Augustus 1838 and John Hector 1845. When the first two were born he used the name Lisson, then Gorrick for the last three. In both the newspaper reports and the childrens birth there is a gap between 1840 and 1845.
