Hi all, I'm also descended from Robert Forrester. He was tried in Middlesex in 1783 for stealing gold coin to the value of six guineas, along with Richard McDale. Robert was sentenced to death, but this was later changed to being sent to the colony to serve 7 years. And I have too have just received Louise Wilson's book on him, and can't wait to get into it.
