Hi Joan, Lesley and all The Brown , Bushell line is certainly an interesting one. I have really only done my direct line through David Brown down to my father but it is very interesting and there is a lot of information and help out there. I have also found other convicts with just as interesting stories in my direct line. All the stoies and fact that Lesley sends through about the time and the area around the Hawkesbury all add to the picture. I have found that there is more than one connection between any of the families in the area - cousin marrying cousins, in-laws marrying etc. It is also intgeresting to follow the way names change over the years.
