Hi, I am resending this to the list as it hasn't appeared in my incoming mail as yet. As far as I can determine there were 6 convicts named Edward WIlson who arrived in NSW. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about these 6 convicts. 1. Edward Wilson Alias Edward Murry arr. Hercules 1830. From Dublin City. TL 40/543 1840 TL passport 45/0228 13 mar 1845, 48/0309 19 jun 1848, 49/0402 8 dec 1849. Unlike to be the convict I am interested in. 2. Edward Wilson arr. Hercules 1832. Convicted 9 April 1832 York (Leeds) Assizes setence 7 years. On arr. aged 22 employed by a Mr Thompson, Sydney CF 40/0794 4 May 1840 3. Edward Wilson arr. Dick 1821. Convicted 13 Jul 1830 Lincoln Assizes sentence 7 years. on arr, aged 10? 1821 employed at Wellington Gully? 1824 Col Sec. 12 mar on list of prisoners assisgned, 12 jul sentenced to Road Party 1828 Census government employ SydneyCF 27/0707 24 Jul 1827, 28/0904 22 Oct 1828 4. Edward Wilson arr. Lord Melville 1830. On arrivial aged 19. Sentence 14 years employed by Dept of Roads & Bridges T.L. 1847 47/231 1847 47/702. 5. Edward Wilson arr. Lady Kennaway 1836. Convicted Lincoln (Lindsey) Assizes 27 Oct 1835 7 years. CF 42/1892 2 Nov 1842 6. Edward Wilson arr. Guildford 1816. Sentenced to life. 1828 TL - labourer Parramatta. I am trying to determine is one of these men was the Edward Wilson who married a Mary Ann Gunningham/Cunningham in 1841. I have found 2 other Edward Wilsons who were not convicted but have been able to eliminate them as not being the man I am researching. Cheers Cheryl
