    3. Thanks Jerry and Lesley. The William Henry Bunn who died in 1880 is wrong one. I'm after the guy who married Ann Coughlan. He seems to disappear off the scene sometime in late 1860's. Slowly going through all the BDM certificates. He married my 4g grandmother after he husband, Michael Coughlan Florentia (1) died. Without records it is difficult to identify when he came to Australia or if he was born here. Ann was 33 when she re-married (born 1822 Rochdale England). There are no clues on their marriage certificate. Any idea how old the Bunn (Asia) was in 1820. She might have married an older man.

    3. Hi Rob Willian Bunn, the convict per Asia stated he was 21 in 1820. He was a Lifer and received various TOLs between 1829 and 1849 - no mention of a Pardon of any description. As I said, I think he may be the one who died in 1852 aged 54. It was not until after I posted my message that I realised that you were talking about Annie Kershaw. As she had a number of small children to support when her husband died young she probably needed financial support (or protection).
