Hi again Jan I think that whatever you read from is wrong. James Blanch was convicted on 16 February 1814 and sentenced to 7 years, 14 + 7 + 21 - therefore I think it was actually his Certificate of Freedom he received in February 1821 and not his Ticket of Leave. Going by the number of his TOL issued during Governor Macquaries time, I think that number was probably issued some time in 1817.
