Lesley, This is a new one for the list .... Isaac COATES born 1813 Birmingham convicted stealing 1833 Warwickshire and sentenced to 7 years and transported aboard the Mary to Sydney 1833. He also had a sister who was convicted of stealing and transported to Tasmania. however I do not have a lot of detail on this. I believe Isaac was assigned to a Jas H BARRATT I believe of Sydney. I am trying to find information regarding the assignment including the location and type of work involved. Can anyone help please. Jim Scarborough Qld
