William Andrews (7 years) per Bengal Merchant 1936. On the 1837 N.S.W. muster of convicts he is shown as assigned to W. Cox Esq. Richmond. The next record I find for him is receiving his Certificate of Freedom July 1845 in the Darling Downs 9 1/2 years after he was sentenced. I haven't found a ticket of leave or any other documentation. If he was reassigned to another person would there be records of this? Any suggestions as to how he may have turned up in the Darling Downs without a TOL. Thanks, Jan, Perth.
