Dear Lesley, May I ask for your assistance again please. I have an old Certificate of Freedom and the print is hard to read. Certificate No. 39/1003. 22nd July 1839 John Hughes came on the "GUILDFORD 1829 My query, he was to be sent to ?????? 17th day 1841. Does it read Merton Bench,? I am just trying to follow where was he at this time. Many Thanks Kath.
