There is a gravesite on the old Moorna station at the junction of the Murray River and the Anabranch. The headstone inscription says. 'in loving remembrance of James Friel who died 30 August 1894". I have searched the NSW deaths-on-line and cannot find a death for James. Would anyone know where I can get more information on the death or the station owners records. If the stonemason could be traced there may be records of who ordered the headstone which may be a further lead. Any help would be appreciated. Muriel Regnaud (Nth Qld).
