Be careful with your ancestors graves in the very old section at Rookwood as the Italian's have erected huge mausoleum's over old graves in the old sections, I spoke to to the people at the catholic section and they were very co-operative and found my great grandmothers grave which has no headstone but i shall be putting one there for her, they wrote my name and contact details down as the person to contact re this grave so that it is not a deserted or uncontactable relative grave,I suggest all those who have relatives in the very old sections do just that write or call at the office and put down your name as the contact person so that they cannot build over the old graves Ray .
