Hi Heather, Sorry I can't help you with your querry, even though I am a ROBINSON. My lot came into Melbourne and spent their time in the inner suburbs - Collingwood. I was wondering if you might be able to suggest any resources that might be able to help me trace my grandfather, Charles Christopher RITCHIE who was in Broken Hill in the early 1920s. I know he was a Freemason in Broken Hill c1920 and described himself as a commercial traveller. I have written to the Broken Hill chapter of the Freemasons but I am not overly hopeful of receiving a reply as it has been some months. I have no idea of where he lived while in Broken Hill or who he worked for. His first wife died 19-11-1919 but I cannot find this death in NSW so I presume he was not in Broken Hill at this time. He married my grandmother in Melbourne in 1925 so was definitely out of Broken Hill by then and I know they never returned. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
