Hi Everyone, This is just to announce that a new website has been launched for the AUSTRALIAN-PLACENAMES list at Rootsweb. It is at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~surreal/AP/index.html While it doesn't give you the meaning of the placenames then and there, it has an impressive listing of places where you can go looking for your information. Although it is best for those looking for place names in Victoria, it does have some clues to where to look for obscure NSW place names as well. And, let's face it - we have a fair few of them (obscure place names, that is!) Cheers Linda
