Hi Wendy, The CD's don't give age, but he did die in Broken Hill. Have you considered getting a transcript at half the price of the certificates? Also, by quoting the number for the certificate to the registry office, it only costs $20 instead of $26, so that is something to consider also. Both Joy Murrin and Marilyn Rowan do transcripts for $13 or $14. Their information is as follows: Joy Murrin - E-mail: [email protected] Website: http://www.joymurrin.com.au Marilyn Rowan [email protected] or try her web site at http://www.marbract.com.au Happy hunting. The information I have from the site is: 3487/1892 MacDonald Stephen Father Frederick mother Alice. I think this may be a part of my family I am trying to track but not sure. So I hoping the CD gives age and also where died. If he is young and died in Broken Hill, I will eventually buy the death certificate but at this stage I don't want to waste money if it is not mine. Thanks Wendy Bothwell in South Aussie
