Many thanks Chris and Tony - and I need to apologise it isn't Forbes it is Parkes (blaming old age for the lapse, which is no excuse I should have double checked) It is a Catholic priest, The Right Reverend. Monsignor John Moran, VG (Vicar General) Born in Cahireiveen, Kerry, Eire on 8th November 1874 Died 30th January 1942 in Parkes. He was in Broken Hill 1901 - 1902 Hay 1902 - 1905 Nyngan 1905 - 1931 Parkes 1931 - 1942 He is buried at the Parkes Cemetery Priests Plot We are not related to Father Moran, however he played a very large in the part of the lives of my family in Nyngan. Hence my interest. I do have a photocopy of his funeral service card and the records of his service from the Diocese of Wilcannia. Plus photocopies of a photograph of his grave (not readable), one from his funeral service (not very good). The small photo on his service card is the best one - but I would appreciate any scan of a photo of him as opposed to a photocopy. I would also dearly love to know who the executor was for his personal matters. As a priest there was no deceased estate packet (I presume because he had no property of value). However he was the executor/administrator of a trust related to my family and I would like to know who took that over after his death. The Diocese cannot tell me, I am however engaging a solicitor (I think) to follow up on this issue for me. Still weighing up the pro's and con's of getting to the bottom of a great family mystery :-)) Many thanks again to anyone who can help in this meandering for our family tree Karen researching Schuler, Reed, Miller, Jones, Carrick and Leahy in NSW West
