Dear Jill An excellent source for this sort of information which often gives times, costs etc are the old Directories such as Sands or Grevilles. Usually such information is either at the beginning or the end or before each township listing. Many are available on microfiche and more becoming available on the web or CD. Another lister may be more specific.
