    3. Hi Muriel Have you been in contact with the Wentworth Historical Society? If not, it could be well worth a try. Their contact details are listed on the Wentworth Shire Council website at http://www.wentworth.nsw.gov.au/history/society.php Kind Regards Roz Voullaire roz@voullaire.com.au ----- Original Message ----- From: "MURIEL REGNAUD" <murielregnaud@ozemail.com.au> To: <AUS-NSW-WEST-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, September 30, 2004 8:31 AM Subject: [NSW-W] anabranch gravesite > There is a gravesite on the old Moorna station at the junction of the Murray River and the Anabranch. The headstone inscription says. 'in loving remembrance of James Friel who died 30 August 1894". I have searched the NSW deaths-on-line and cannot find a death for James. Would anyone know where I can get more information on the death or the station owners records. If the stonemason could be traced there may be records of who ordered the headstone which may be a further lead. Any help would be appreciated. > Muriel Regnaud (Nth Qld). > > > ==== AUS-NSW-WEST Mailing List ==== > The List-admin for this list can be contacted by e-mailing > AUS-NSW-WEST-admin@rootsweb.com > > >
