    3. Hi Ellen Many thanks for your advice - I shall take a few hours off and try the Mitchell Library - I had better do it before the Olympics as the organisers are asking us not to travel and keep out of the City - I would have thought that everybody who was coming to see the Olympics would be going to Homebush? - but whom am I to a disagree with Michael Knight and his clan of experts. Best Wishes Arthur Sunny and Warm Sydney.

    3. Dear Heather, I am interested in your posting of the Ward name. My grandfather Henry Ward was the son of William Ward and Sarah Boxshall. they married in Melbourne in 1844 and as he was not born until 1867 I assume there were older siblings. He was born, according to his marriage cert. in Booligal and seems to have spent most of his life in the Hay /Balranald area. I would be very excited if any of your Wards connect with him. 3. Hi List, Just a note to all 112 of you to let you know how the list is going. With 112, it is a small list, so it often has periods when things are a little quiet, and that is fine. But there has been a slow but steady number of new subscribers, who may just be sitting out there waiting for you to post. Sometimes they might just be a little shy about jumping in and posting. So, feel free, be you an oldie or a newbie, to jump in and tell us about your family in Western New South Wales. Mine are the BARRACLOUGHS and WALKERS from the lower Darling River area, and I must post more about them when I get a minute. But, right now, I need to mow the lawn. :) And feel free to check out the list home page at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~surreal/NSWW/ Cheers Linda the Listie
