Do you have her death notice it is in the Sydney Morning Herald 13 August 1862 page 1 and says: (If you do I apologise) - On 11 inst at her residence Albion Street, Surry Hills, Hannah Gleadall, the beloved wife of Stephen Gleadall. There is an independent Cemetery at Rookwood http://www.rookwoodindependent.com.au however I had a quick search and she doesn't seem to be there. She could also have been buried at Devonshire Street Cemetery. I don't have access to those records, however another nice person on here might be able to help. Good luck. Tracey. I have an ancestor who also died in Sydney in 1862. Her name was Hannah > GLEADALL. Her death certificate listed that she was buried in the > Independent Burial Ground, Sydney. Can anyone please help me locate this > cemetery or its records? > >
