    3. Chris, Don't know for sure, but the Independent burial ground is most likely a section of the old Devonshire Street Cemetery. Can't see any Gleadall listed in Sainty & Johnson's book which lists most burials and also has a list of when many of the Rookwood didn't open until 1868 and Botany cemetery in 1888. Devonshire Street closed to burials in the 1880s and is now the site of Central railway station. Sorry can't be more of more help.
