The New South Wales Police Gazette was first published in 1862. An earlier publication was the New South Wales Reports of Crime which had been published between 1852 and 1862. Never seen the earlier years 1854 -1861 before . Dear Maureen and Marg, 1862 was the year that the Police Force as we know it today was established. Celebrating 150 years this year with several displays. A special book has been written by Patrick Lindsay which is over an inch thick.
